Facilities

In addition to the basic infrastructure w.r.t. the laboratories and classrooms aplenty facilities are available. A well stacked central library, boys and girls common room, a medicinal garden are some of the facilities for the students. A well-equipped Sports Room with the latest sports equipment is available for all. Indoor sport facilities like, Table Tennis, Carom, Chess is also available. Training and placement cell ensures the placement of the student for their summer training for 3 month in Drug Store Pharmacy of repute as well as provides 100% placement support to interested students. Student welfare activity ensures that the needy and economic backward students get a chance to participate in the earn and learn scheme. The students are made aware of the various scholarships that are available to them from time to time. The students are encouraged to participate in various state and national level competitions like Poster presentation, Paper presentation, Quiz Competition and Pharma Cricket League, etc.

Labs

Maharashtra Institute of Pharmacy (D.Pharm) have one of the best set ups with respect to the laboratories. The state of the art laboratories are well equipped with the latest instruments and equipment which are required for the diploma as well as undergraduate students. Highly sophisticated Machine room is the main attraction of the infrastructure. The labs are spacious, airy and systematically arranged for easy movement in the lab. Besides the basic facilities of piped gas, water and drainage, every lab has a preparation room, facilitated with the safety measures, individual recessed storage space and balance room. The facilities and labs are maintained as much as possible as per the Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). All the Instruments and equipment are one of the best and are at par in any pharmaceutical industry though in some cases are at a scaled down size. Instrument and equipment are routinely maintained and are operated as per the Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) which are displayed for the operator. A log book is maintained for each of the Instrument/equipment.

Internet Facility

The internet is the most necessary for communication and as a learning tool. It gives access to vast amount of information on a broad range of topic. Internet facility is provided in institute as an educational tool to all students. Both wired and wireless network access (Wi-Fi) is available with the high speed internet connectivity of bandwidth 8 MBPS. Wi-Fi connectivity for the entire campus is also enabled in the campus for the access of internet facility in working hours.
Internet dedicated Leased Line of 8 MBPS facility provided for faster access of web contents to all the students, faculties and staff. Campus is equipped with Wi-Fi internet facility using leased line backbone. You simply need to connect to the network and register your device on the network to gain access to the Internet.
The campus provides an open access Wi-Fi network throughout, with a speed of 8 Mbps Internet connection, locally networked and connected through Wi-Fi also to the central server are available for students for their project work and preparing seminar presentations.
It also access to e-books, study materials, previous question papers daily circulars, etc. through the college Local Area Network. Internet facilities in the well-equipped internet lab, providing high speed of connectivity the student can surf the net together unlimited information.

Extra Co-curricular Activities

Besides paying individual attention by the teaching faculty, every student has a guardian/mentor, who tracks the progress of the student since he has taken admission till he passes out. Training and placement cell is actively involved in the development of the student in various aspects like, personality development, soft skills resume writing, interview techniques etc. Students are also encouraged to participate in in-house competitions as well as Karandak and inter-college competitions in co-curricular and extracurricular activities in Maharashtra. Students are exposed to the lectures and talks of eminent personalities from the Pharma field which may include entrepreneurs. Students are encouraged to participate in entrepreneurship development activities as a part of the EDC. Besides this, Earn and Learn initiative taken by the Management for the students is followed upto the hilt by the College. There is a student welfare Officer nominated in the college for carrying out these activities. To display their literary skills every year the college magazine is published where the students can give their own articles.
